Task 1: Creating a Compartment
To List Compartment we need to have a Compartment first, we assume that you already have an compartment, else kindly create your Compartment by following below Guided Hand-on Lab Link.
After finishing the above Lab you will have a compartments as shown in this diagram below, Now you are ready to move to next Step.

Required concept knowledge
- If you recently created a resource, it might not show up in the tenancy explorer immediately. Similarly, if you recently updated a resource, your changes might not immediately appear.
- You must be in the same region as the resource to navigate to its details page. The tenancy explorer displays the resource's region. Use the region selector at the top of the Console to change to the same region as the resource to enable these actions.
Lisiting Resources within a Compartment
It’s not possible to get a list of all the resources created within a compartment by using a single click. So by select the type of resource you want to view (e.g., all the instances, all the block storage volumes, etc.), you can list all the resources of a "given type" within the compartment.
